Image processing
Images use private temporary storage and a third-party processor. Inputs are deleted after success. Recoverable failures keep the original privately for up to one hour for one manual retry; you can delete it immediately. Other failed inputs are deleted. Results last up to one hour, with a 24-hour storage deletion backstop.
For batches, results stay available until one hour after the batch finishes, subject to its processing deadline and the 24-hour storage limit.
Optional provider checks
The OpenAI checker sends a selected file to OpenAI only after separate consent; OpenAI states that this check is not eligible for Zero Data Retention. The Google checker opens Gemini, where you upload directly to Google. Each provider's terms apply.
Abuse prevention and records
Anonymous browser and keyed network identifiers enforce service limits; the application does not store raw IP addresses. Temporary upload records are removed after seven days. We retain a minimal processing history indefinitely: opaque job and batch references, timestamps, outcomes, image dimensions, costs and numeric processing measurements. This history excludes images, filenames, extracted text, account details, network identifiers and access credentials. Cloudflare may process ordinary request data to provide network security and analytics.
Accounts and sign-in
Accounts use a verified email, a username, or a provider identifier. Where enabled, Microsoft, LINE and Kakao do not require email. Matching emails never merge accounts. Passwords and recovery codes are hashed. Provider tokens are discarded. Challenges expire after 10 minutes and sessions after 30 days. Email signups can receive codes and welcome messages. GitHub requests email access, never repository access.
We keep a keyed email or provider-identity hash and a minimal grant record to prevent repeat signup offers across our websites.
Account follow-up
After account creation, we may send one feedback email with an extra-credit offer if no purchase is made within three days. A keyed email hash, signup time, delivery state, unsubscribe and redemption records prevent repeat messages across our websites. Unsubscribe using the link in the email; sign-in messages are unaffected. Cloudflare delivers these English emails, and replies go to support. We do not track opens or clicks.
API keys
API access stores key names, masked prefixes and keyed hashes, not the full keys. A new key is shown only once. You can revoke it in your account; revoked key records are removed after seven days. API uploads use the same temporary storage and image deletion schedule as website uploads.
Payments and account deletion
Stripe handles payment details and collects an email at checkout, including for username accounts. That billing email does not become your login or link accounts. We keep dollar-balance entries and minimal payment/refund receipts separately from images for seven years. Financial records contain opaque job references, not images, filenames or extracted image text. Request account deletion or help with refunds from your account email, or use the support form while signed in. Records needed for payments, disputes and applicable obligations may remain.
Mobile app
The SynthID Remover app uses the SynthIDRemoval.com account, credits and temporary image processing service. Its accounts and credits are shared with the SynthIDRemoval.com website. It keeps a device-protected sign-in token and temporary copies of selected files for upload recovery. Confirmed uploads and temporary shared downloads are cleared locally; interrupted uploads expire after one hour. The app does not delete your original photos. Apple or Google handles in-app payment details. Verified purchase references and encrypted receipts support credits, refunds and fraud prevention. Apple refresh tokens are encrypted for revocation.
Sign in with Apple requests your email address. If you choose Hide My Email, we receive Apple's private relay address instead of your personal address. We store the verified shared or relay address for account communications, support and unsubscribable product updates. It does not change your sign-in identity or merge accounts. The saved contact is removed with your Apple identity when account deletion finishes.
Delete the app account from the app's Account screen or use the account deletion options. In-app deletion requires fresh sign-in and confirmation, then revokes access immediately; image cleanup and pending payment obligations finish before identity data is removed. For support requests, we verify the account belongs to you before deletion. Required financial, anti-abuse and support records follow the retention rules on this page. Deletion does not automatically issue a refund.
Support mailbox
Messages sent to support@synthidremoval.com, including allowed attachments, are stored in a private operator mailbox so we can respond. Active conversations remain until an operator deletes them. Trash becomes eligible for deletion after 30 days and is cleared by the next daily maintenance run. Cloudflare processes routing, storage, access control, and transactional delivery for this mailbox. Do not send credentials or highly sensitive personal information.
Feedback submissions include your authenticated account reference when you are signed in, and any email you choose to provide for a reply. They are stored in this mailbox under the same retention rules. A reply email is not added to your login identity.
Pricing measurements
Pricing layout testing has ended; detailed experiment records are kept for 90 days, then only aggregate totals without browser or account identifiers remain.
Tracking and controls
There are no advertising pixels, advertising profiles or data-broker integrations. Essential browser storage supports quotas and uploads. Small previews of original uploads stay in your browser until you delete the image, replace the saved batch or return to expired results. Account previews also use private storage so they can appear on your other devices; these are deleted with the result after its one-hour access window, with a 24-hour deletion backstop.
