Removal uploads
Images submitted to the remover are uploaded to a private Cloudflare R2 object and processed on a temporary third-party GPU instance. Inputs are deleted after processing or failure. Passing results are targeted for deletion one hour after completion, while abandoned uploads expire after one hour. A 24-hour storage lifecycle rule is the hard backstop.
OpenAI checker uploads
If you explicitly use the OpenAI checker, the selected file is sent to OpenAI and is not written to our R2 bucket. OpenAI states that provenance checks are not eligible for Zero Data Retention. The Google checker is an external link; you upload directly to Google in Gemini.
Abuse prevention
We use Cloudflare Turnstile, a random browser identifier, and a keyed hash derived from network information to enforce limits. The application does not store raw IP addresses. Cloudflare may process request data as part of operating its network and security services.
Operational records
While a job is active, its record contains opaque identifiers, object keys, state, timestamps, provider cost data, file hashes, and the submitted filename. At deletion, its access credential, anonymous visitor hash, filename, file hashes, and processor manifest are cleared. The remaining operational record is retained for up to seven days.
No advertising tracking
We do not use advertising pixels, cross-site profiles, or data-broker integrations. Essential browser storage holds an anonymous quota identifier and, for the current tab session, an opaque job credential.
Your controls
Use “Delete now” to request immediate deletion after processing. Contact support@synthidremoval.com for privacy questions. Do not email sensitive images or job tokens.
