Image processing
Images use private temporary storage and a third-party processor. Inputs are deleted after processing or failure. Successful results remain available for up to one hour, with a 24-hour storage rule as the final deletion backstop.
Optional provider checks
The OpenAI checker sends a selected file to OpenAI only after separate consent; OpenAI states that this check is not eligible for Zero Data Retention. The Google checker opens Gemini, where you upload directly to Google. Each provider's terms apply.
Abuse prevention and records
Anonymous browser and keyed network identifiers enforce service limits; the application does not store raw IP addresses. Temporary upload records are removed after seven days. We retain a minimal processing history indefinitely: opaque job and batch references, timestamps, outcomes, image dimensions, costs and numeric processing measurements. This history excludes images, filenames, extracted text, account details, network identifiers and access credentials. Cloudflare may process ordinary request data to provide network security and analytics.
Accounts and sign-in
Optional accounts store your email address, linked Google or GitHub user identifiers, and hashed sign-in/session tokens. Email codes and OAuth sign-in challenges expire after 10 minutes; sessions expire after 30 days. Expired authentication records are removed during maintenance. We do not store passwords, card numbers or GitHub access tokens. Cloudflare delivers sign-in codes and one welcome email for new accounts; Google and GitHub handle their respective sign-in methods. GitHub sign-in requests only access to your email addresses, with no repository access.
We retain a keyed email hash and a minimal grant record across our websites to prevent repeat signup offers.
API keys
API access stores key names, masked prefixes and keyed hashes, not the full keys. A new key is shown only once. You can revoke it in your account; revoked key records are removed after seven days. API uploads use the same temporary storage and image deletion schedule as website uploads.
Payments and account deletion
Stripe handles payment details. We keep dollar-balance entries and minimal payment/refund receipts separately from images for seven years. Financial records contain opaque job references, not images, filenames or extracted image text. Contact support from your account email to request deletion or an unused-balance refund; records needed for payments, disputes and applicable obligations may remain.
Support mailbox
Messages sent to support@synthidremoval.com, including allowed attachments, are stored in a private operator mailbox so we can respond. Active conversations remain until an operator deletes them. Trash becomes eligible for deletion after 30 days and is cleared by the next daily maintenance run. Cloudflare processes routing, storage, access control, and transactional delivery for this mailbox. Do not send credentials or highly sensitive personal information.
Feedback submissions, including any email address you choose to provide for a reply, are stored in this mailbox under the same retention rules.
Pricing measurements
Pricing layout testing has ended; detailed experiment records are kept for 90 days, then only aggregate totals without browser or account identifiers remain.
Tracking and controls
We do not use advertising pixels, advertising profiles, or data-broker integrations. Essential browser storage supports quotas and active jobs. Small image previews are saved only in your browser for the current upload batch. They are cleared when you delete an image, start another batch, or return to an expired batch. Use “Delete now” when available, or contact support@synthidremoval.com. Do not email job credentials.
